The January transfer window is heating up with the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool all exploring deals with Deadline Day fast approaching. The Gunners are set to announce Ethan Nwaneri’s move to Marseille as the talented youngster will spend the remainder of the season in France to aid his first team development.
Chelsea are in pole position to sign Yisa Alao Sheffield Wednesday, but there has been a twist in the Blues’ pursuit of Rennes defender Jeremy Jacquet as the two clubs are yet to reach an agreement over a transfer fee. Man United face competition from Real Madrid to sign Ruben Neves, while Ruben Loftus-Cheek could be on his way back to the Premier League and Jean-Philippe Mateta has informed Crystal Palace of his desire to leave.
Today could finally be the day that Tottenham unveil left-back Souza as their second signing this month and the north London outfit are said to have made a surprise enquiry for West Ham winger Crysencio Summerville as Thomas Frank seeks to bolster his forward options.
Cole Palmer keen on Man Utd transfer as Chelsea midfielder eyes Manchester return

Chelsea playmaker Cole Palmer has been linked with a surprise move back to Manchester, with reports suggesting the former Manchester City star would be open to joining Manchester United if the opportunity arose.
Palmer has been one of Chelsea’s standout performers since arriving at Stamford Bridge, quickly establishing himself as a key creative force in midfield. His impressive form has reportedly caught the attention of several top clubs, including United, who are believed to be monitoring his situation closely.
However, any potential deal looks complicated. Palmer is under a long-term contract with Chelsea until 2033, giving the London club a strong position and making a transfer highly unlikely in the short term. Chelsea see him as a central figure in their long-term project and are not expected to entertain offers easily.
Despite this, the rumour highlights Palmer’s growing reputation in the Premier League and United’s continued search for creative attacking talent. For now, a move remains speculative, but it is one that could gain traction if circumstances change in the future.
As things stand, Chelsea remain firmly in control, and Palmer’s focus is expected to stay on continuing his rise in blue rather than engineering a return to Manchester anytime soon.
Vinicius Jr wants Real Madrid stay
Vinicius Junior’s contract with Real Madrid is up in the summer of 2027 and there has been talk of a move to the Premier League for the Brazilian.
However, the forward has reiterated his desire to sign a new deal with Los Blancos.
“I want to stay here for a long time,” he said after Real Madrid’s win over Monaco.
“There’s also a lot of talk about my contract renewal because I have another year left. We’re very relaxed about it.
“I trust [Real Madrid president Florentino Perez], and he trusts me. We have a very good relationship, and we’ll sort things out at the right time. We’re in no hurry to do that.”

Barcelona target Bernardo Silva
Reports in Spain claim Barcelona want to sign Manchester City captain Bernardo Silva.
The Portugal international, as things stands, will be available on a free transfer this summer as his contract expires at the Etihad Stadium expires at the end of the season.
In fact, Barca are able to negotiate a pre-contract agreement with Silva right now but it would appear talks are yet to take place.

Liverpool prepare £87.1m bid

That is according to CaughtOffside who claim the Reds preparing to submit a bid worth €100million (£87.1m) for the Ivory Coast international.
